Solar System Mother

Solar System Mother
I told everybody not to answer, but we couldn't handle the constant buzzing on the com-feed. When the main view screen lit up, you could feel the warmth sucked out of the room. She howled at us for letting the street gangs run wild. She screamed at us for letting the prophets get the upper hand in the war. And of course She shrieked us for letting her son die again. All the while, that damn cat of hers kept glaring at us like we were a snack.

Science Diver

A Mission for the Science Diver
While the rest of the world fell in to the thrall of supernatural solutions and dark arts, the Science Diver worked on his secret task. With a sample of Chaosium 213, the Prophets and Priestesses would finally be thrown off his trail. They could never go as deep as he can go. All the candles and oracles would never divine what he and Professor Octopus were up to.

Art Show Set Up

My little tent area at the Reno Visual Arts Blast. Spent the last 2 days out in the nice weather, talking to people, meeting other artists and having a great time.

No matter how fast we ascend, we always seem closer to the bottom than the surface. Gravity is generous with her strength, and like an overbearing parent, uses it to keep us where we are. We must escape her notice, find the hidden panel in a house of Ill Compute, and make the jump to the other side. There we will be a zero instead of a one.

Trapped on the "Other-Side", the Duchess of Reflections isn't a native of these waters. But now her realm is piled deep with debris jettisoned by fleeing travelers. Survivors report symptoms such as: reversal of blood flow, excessive guilt and the gnashing of teeth. Others claim to experience limited clairvoyance, good crops and unexplained knowledge of flora.

And Now for Something Completely Different 3...

Here's another piece done for Robert over at Brink of Battle.
A quick Ash-can cover for the new fantasy updates he's preparing to roll out.
Brink of Battle is a great game system that allows players to use most any figures from all the fantasy and historical table-top miniature games to play small squad based scenarios. If you have War Hammer, or Flames of War or any other system armies just sitting around collecting dust, you may want to take a look at Brink of Battle.

The Offering

The Offering
The Priestess and her assistant exercise their power for the sake of power. Outside the temple, we pile our wares in marketplaces overflowing with ghosts and shadows. They weave between pillars like a prediction that didn't quite come true. The birds know that we offer up our sacrifice, not with thanks, but with fear.

And Now for Something Completely Different 2...

While I work on some new pieces for this blog (more big canvases and more mannequin bodies!) I have also been working on actual paying work. I recently completed a cover and some interior diagrams for my buddy Robert and a new miniatures skirmish game. If you are into historical gaming, miniatures, and in future versions - sci-fi and fantasy gaming, this is a great game to get into. For more info on the game, and how to get it, here are a few places to visit.

My art partner-in crime Jackwrench and I are already working on art for fantasy and sic-fi expansions as well as maybe some mood art for the original historical game.

And Now for Something Completely Different...

I've been working away on a bunch of DC Zombies for over a year now. Maybe two. I finally decided to upload them to a blog so maybe they can be seen by more than just the people on DeviantArt. So, if you like DC Comics and you like Zombies, head on over to my other Blog. I'll be adding one or two a week until I'm caught up.
